Algiers, Algeria | May 29, 2024 — Prime Minister Mr. Nadir Larbaoui presided over a government meeting on Wednesday dedicated to the study and examination of several important matters.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, this meeting focused on the study of a draft law concerning the protection of individuals with specific needs.
Additionally, a draft decree outlining the rules for the organization of the observatory for the prevention of discrimination and hate speech was also presented during this meeting, the statement emphasizes.
Moreover, two presentations were made regarding the national strategy for the valorization of hydrocarbons and measures for the activation of the national urban land agency.
“These measures are part of the implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic aimed at finalizing the activation of all mechanisms of the new legislative system. The new mechanisms concerning land will contribute to making industrial land available for industry and urban land available for tourism,” the same source adds.
These discussions underscore the government’s commitment to addressing crucial issues and implementing necessary reforms in line with the directives of the President to enhance the effectiveness of the legislative system and promote economic development in various sectors.
