Algeria-Jordan: Direct flights as of March

ALGIERS– Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Chamali announced, on Tuesday, the launch of an air link between Algiers and Amman as of March 9, 2023 with two flights per week. The two flights will be provided by the Jordanian Airline Royal Jordanian and will be followed by two other flights operated by the Algerian Airline Air Algérie.
The Jordanian Minister is leading a large Jordanian delegation to Algeria as part of the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two sisterly countries.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane received at the Government Palace, a large Jordanian ministerial delegation, led by Yousef Al-Shamali, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply and also Minister of Labor of the Kingdom Jordanian Hashemite, said a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.
The discussions focused on “the state and prospects of bilateral relations”. During the meeting, both parties underlined readiness to work to further strengthen the partnership between the two countries, by granting investment opportunities and energizing the cooperation mechanisms in accordance with the directives of the leaders of the two countries”, indicated the same source.
The two parties welcomed the results of this important visit, in particular the Algerian-Jordanian roadmap for the strengthening of economic, trade and investment cooperation, for the period 2023-2025,” the statement concluded.
