Algiers, Algeria | June 4th, 2024 — Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui held a meeting with Kamel Moula, President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), in Algiers on Tuesday to evaluate the support measures implemented for economic operators.
The meeting, part of routine engagements with economic and social partners, took place at the Government Palace. They extensively assessed the various support measures undertaken by the Government for economic operators, in line with the directives of the President of the Republic. Key areas of focus included provisions regarding economic land for investment, the establishment of free zones, and initiatives aimed at boosting exports.
Further discussions delved into topics, such as interest rates on investment credits and strategies for promoting national tourism and e-payment systems, all guided by the directives issued by the President.
Expressing satisfaction, the President of CREA acknowledged “the surge in investment volume witnessed in recent months” and praised “the initiatives taken by the President to strengthen economic operators and remove barriers hindering investment projects.” These endeavors aim to fortify the national economy and achieve comprehensive economic development objectives.
The statement from the Prime Minister’s office concluded with reaffirmations of commitment to advancing support measures for economic operators continually. It underscored the government’s dedication to creating a conducive environment for sustainable economic growth and prosperity.
