Algeria, Libya discuss cooperation in field of maintenance, construction of fishing vessels

ALGIERS- Libya’s General Authority for Maritime Fishing had discussed with the Algerian Sacomas company, which specializes in building and maintaining ships, aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of maintenance and construction of fishing vessels of all kinds.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Maritime Fishing discussed with the General Manager of the “Sacomas” company specialized in building and maintaining ships in Algeria, “Ben Aoudia Nour Al-Islam,” a member of the Algerian Association for Fishing on the High Seas; aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of maintenance and construction of fishing vessels of all kinds.
The meeting, which was attended by Libya’s Director of the Cooperation Office at the Ministry of Maritime Resources, discussed the possibility of establishing a partnership in this field and establishing centers for building and maintaining fishing vessels in Libyan ports, in addition to exchanging experiences and visits.
