ALGIERS- The Algerian Ambassador to Algeria, Suleiman Chenine was received, on Wednesday, by the Libyan Minister of Communications in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi.
During the meeting held at the ministry’s office, both parties discussed the opening of the border crossing (Dabdab) to facilitate the traffic and the obstacles that delayed the operation.
The Libyan Ministry of Communications stated that the meeting reviewed issues of common interest in the field of transportation and discussed aspects of cooperation and opening horizons in all fields related to the transportation sector.
Mr. Al-Shahoubi praised the depth of relations between the two countries, stressing his keenness to strengthen them.
In turn, the Algerian ambassador expressed Algeria’s determination to further boost friendship and joint cooperation in the field of transportation, activate cooperation at various levels, and search for ways to return flights between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Khaled Souissi, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Air Transport Affairs, Faisal Arhaima, advisor to the Minister of Communications, Adel Ibrahim, Director of the Cooperation Office at the Ministry’s Court, and the delegation accompanying the Algerian ambassador.
