Algeria: Oran’s International Arab Film Festival Announces Dates for Its 12th Edition

Oran, Algeria, May 12, 2024 – The Oran International Arab Film Festival has unveiled the dates for its eagerly awaited 12th edition, scheduled to take place from October 4th to 10th, 2024, in the captivating province of Oran, located in western Algeria.

After a hiatus of six years since its last edition in 2018, the festival returns under the leadership of artist Abdelkader Djeriou, accompanied by a new artistic management team consisting of seasoned professionals and cinema experts. Additionally, an advisory board comprised of industry professionals has been established to guide the festival’s endeavors.

Expectations are high for the 12th edition, which promises a vibrant and diverse program, featuring the latest Arab film productions and a notable presence of cinema professionals from across the Arab world.
