ALGIERS- In his capacity as the representative of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui will travel to Gambia on Friday to participate in the proceedings of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, this important summit, scheduled to take place in Banjul (the capital of Gambia) on May 4th and 5th, will address several political issues concerning the Muslim world, with the Palestinian question at the forefront.
Combatting Islamophobia
Other topics of economic, humanitarian, and social significance will also be discussed during this meeting.
The issue of combating Islamophobia and strengthening dialogue between civilizations will also be emphasized, the statement added.
Prime Minister Larbaoui’s attendance at the OIC summit underscores Algeria’s commitment to addressing key issues affecting the Muslim world and promoting cooperation among member states. The summit provides an opportunity for Algeria to contribute to the collective efforts aimed at finding solutions to regional and global challenges.
