ALGIERS– The Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, received on Monday at the Government Palace, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Mr. Fayez Abu Aita, indicated a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The meeting was “an opportunity to reaffirm the depth of the ties of brotherhood, solidarity and cooperation uniting the two sisterly countries and peoples, and Algeria’s firm position in favor of the Palestinian cause”, the statement added.
The two parties examined “the latest developments of the Palestinian question and the efforts of Algeria, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at defending this central cause, in particular the initiative sanctioned by the signature of the Algiers Declaration of unification of Palestinian ranks,” the statement concluded.
