ALGIERS- In accordance with the directive of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, injured Palestinian children, along with their accompanying persons, were transported on Thursday evening from Cairo International Airport in Egypt to Boufarik Air Base in Blida, located in the 1st military region.
This operation, the second of its kind after the one on March 28, 2024, was carried out by the Algerian People’s National Army (ANP), which mobilized two medical aircraft from the Algerian Air Force, under the supervision of specialized medical staff from the military health services.
Upon their arrival at Boufarik Air Base, the repatriated children, who are victims of the ongoing atrocities perpetuated against the Palestinians by the Zionist entity, were warmly received and immediately taken to military hospitals for comprehensive medical care. Their accompanying persons were provided accommodation at ANP military facilities, demonstrating Algeria’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people.
This repatriation operation reflects Algeria’s enduring support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to humanitarian principles. Through its armed forces and medical services, Algeria ensures that the injured children receive the highest quality medical treatment and attention.
President Tebboune’s decision to conduct the repatriation operation underscores Algeria’s active role in promoting peace, stability, and humanitarian values in the region. It reaffirms Algeria’s solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle for justice and freedom.
