Algeria Strongly Condemns Zionist Entity’s Military Attacks on Iran

Algiers, Algeria | October 26th, 2024 — Algeria has issued a firm condemnation of recent military strikes by the Zionist entity against the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing deep solidarity with the Iranian people and condemning the aggression as a “heinous” act in “flagrant violation” of the United Nations Charter.

In a statement released on Saturday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Algeria emphasized its staunch opposition to the continued aggression by Zionist forces, calling it an outright attack on Iranian sovereignty and a blatant disregard for international law. “Algeria strongly condemns and firmly denounces the military attacks once again carried out by the Zionist occupation army against the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing its solidarity with the Iranian brothers in the face of this heinous aggression, which constitutes a brazen violation of their country’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of the United Nations Charter and international law principles,” the statement read.

Algeria further stressed the pressing need for the international community to assume its responsibility in restraining the Zionist entity’s actions. The statement highlighted the ongoing escalation by Zionist forces in the Middle East, being a significant destabilizing factor, propelling the region into an ongoing cycle of insecurity and instability.
