ALGIERS- The terrorist named Kadir Khelifa, known as “Belch” surrendered, this Sunday, to the military authorities in Bordj Badji Mokhtar in the 6th Military Region.
According to a press release from the Ministry of National Defence, the terrorist joined the terrorist groups activating in the Sahel region in 2017.
“As part of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the qualitative efforts of the security services of the Ministry of National Defence, the terrorist named Kadir Khelifa said Belch, surrendered on Sunday April 23, 2023, to the military authorities in Bordj Badji Mokhtar in the 6th Military Region”, underlined the press release.
The terrorist had in his possession an FMPK-type machine gun, a Kalashnikov-type submachine gun, magazines and ammunition for several types of weapons as well as a satellite communication device, specified the same source, which underlined that “this operation proves once again the great vigilance and efficiency of units of the People’s National Army in charge of the fight against terrorism and securing the borders”.
