ALGIERS- During the closing ceremony of the 6th edition of the National Exhibition of Reverse Subcontracting Sanist 2023, held at the Palais des Expositions (Pins Maritimes-Algiers) on Thursday, the Minister of Commerce, Mr. Tayeb Zitouni, made an exciting announcement. He stated that Algeria is soon to commence the production of various types of train carriages, as well as heavy machinery, through partnerships with specialized companies in Portugal.

Mr. Zitouni further emphasized his department’s objective of increasing the rate of integration of various industries in Algeria to 90%. This will be achieved through the multiplication of partnerships with foreign companies and the implementation of mechanisms in the new investment code that facilitate the establishment of foreign investment in Algeria.

This development is a significant step towards the growth and expansion of Algeria’s manufacturing industry. The production of different types of wagons and heavy machinery will not only create job opportunities but also contribute to the country’s economic development.

Algeria’s commitment to increasing the rate of integration of various industries is commendable. It is a clear indication of the government’s determination to create a conducive environment for foreign investment and promote economic growth. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact of this initiative on Algeria’s economy and the manufacturing industry.
