Algeria to Continue Efforts for Palestine’s UN Membership, Says Algerian FM Attaf

ALGIERS- During a press briefing to review Algeria’s diplomatic efforts on various issues, Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf reiterated Algeria’s determination to continue its efforts for the full membership of the State of Palestine in the United Nations.
Highlighting Algeria’s role as “the first country to successfully pass a resolution in the Security Council for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the delivery of humanitarian aid,” Attaf assured that Algeria “will continue its efforts for the full membership of the State of Palestine in the UN.”
The Algerian Foreign Minister emphasized that Algeria’s efforts will continue “in line with its strategy in accordance with the directives of the President of the Republic, who dedicated a significant portion of his speech to this issue at the United Nations General Assembly.”
