Algiers, Algeria | December 23rd, 2024 — Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held a telephone discussion on Monday with his Tunisian counterpart, Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad. This high-level exchange underscored the enduring bonds of fraternity and cooperation between the two neighboring nations.

According to a statement from Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conversation served as a platform to evaluate ongoing collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the historical ties between Algeria and Tunisia. Both ministers emphasized their commitment to advancing mutual objectives, aligning with the strategic directives of their respective heads of state, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria and President Kaïs Saïed of Tunisia.

The dialogue was marked by an in-depth exchange of perspectives and analyses on a wide range of pressing regional issues of shared interest. This discussion reflects the robust partnership between the two countries as they navigate complex geopolitical landscapes while pursuing stability, development, and solidarity across North Africa and the broader region.
