Algeria-Turkey: Several Cooperation Agreements Inked

ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his Turkish counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, co-chaired a ceremony in Algiers on Tuesday for the signing of several cooperation agreements between Algeria and Turkey.

These agreements and memoranda of cooperation span various sectors and were signed at the Presidential Palace following discussions between Presidents Tebboune and Erdogan.

President Erdogan had previously arrived in Algiers for an official visit, during which he, along with President Tebboune, presided over the second session of the Algerian-Turkish High-Level Cooperation Council.

Expanded Talks between Delegations

The discussions between President Tebboune and his Turkish counterpart were expanded on Tuesday to include members of both delegations.

Earlier, the two Presidents had a one-on-one meeting at the Presidential Palace, where President Tebboune officially welcomed President Erdogan.

Simultaneously, bilateral discussions took place between members of the delegations from both countries.
