Algiers, Algeria – December 22, 2023- In a humanitarian initiative, Algeria has received the first group of Palestinian civilians injured during the recent Zionist aggression in the Gaza Strip. The group, consisting of a 22-year-old woman accompanied by her young child and her 16-year-old sister, arrived on Thursday evening.

The wounded individuals, seriously affected by the Zionist attacks, were promptly evacuated to the Ain Naadja Military Hospital in Algiers. They were transported on an Algerian presidential plane equipped with necessary medical facilities, arriving from Al-Arish Airport in Egypt.

The Algerian national television reported that the injured Palestinians are currently receiving comprehensive and quality medical care in Algeria. The country has ensured that the individuals are provided with the best conditions for their recovery.

This marks the beginning of Algeria’s commitment to hosting 400 Palestinian children who have suffered various injuries due to the brutal Zionist airstrikes on Palestinian civilians. The children will undergo urgent medical treatment in both civilian and military hospitals across the provinces of Algiers, Oran, and Constantine.

Algeria’s proactive response underscores its dedication to providing humanitarian aid and medical assistance to those affected by conflicts, promoting the importance of international solidarity and compassion in times of crisis.
