Algiers, Algeria | April 26th, 2025 —  The Port of Algiers witnessed a vibrant scene on Saturday morning as the luxury cruise ship “World Explorer” gracefully docked at Pier No. 08, arriving from Tunisia via the Port of Skikda. Onboard were 85 tourists representing various nationalities, all eager to explore the rich tapestry of Algeria’s cultural and historical treasures.

 

According to a statement issued by the Port Authority of Algiers, the visitors embarked on a carefully curated sightseeing tour that included the ancient archaeological wonders of Tipaza and the iconic landmarks of Algiers. Throughout their journey, they were immersed in the country’s profound heritage and were met with warm hospitality and impeccable organization, leaving an indelible impression on the guests.

The visit forms part of a broader maritime itinerary, with the “World Explorer” set to continue its voyage toward the vibrant city of Oran on Sunday, April 27, for the next chapter of its Algerian odyssey.
