Algerian ambassador to Libya discusses reopening of Ghadames-Algeria crossing

ALGIERS-  Tripoli-based Libyan Prime Minister, Abd Alhamid Aldabiba, discussed at his office the executive procedures for activating the Ghadames-Debdeb border crossing, and several related economic files, with the Algerian ambassador to Libya, Suleiman Chenine.

The Libyan government reported that the Algerian ambassador assured Aldabaiba of his country’s support for the government’s efforts to stabilize and reach the elections.

Reopening was also discussed with Transport Minister


It will also be recalled that the reopening of the Ghadames-Debdeb border crossing was also discussed on 5 April between Libya’s Transport Minister, Mohamed Al-Shahubi, and the Algerian ambassador and his accompanying delegation, during a meeting at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters.
