Algiers, Algeria | November 24th, 2024 — At the invitation of the Chief of General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, General Bandar Salem Al Muzain, Algeria’s Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP) and Minister Delegate to the Ministry of National Defense, General Saïd Chanegriha, commenced an official visit to the State of Kuwait on Sunday, November 24, 2024. In an official statement, the Ministry of National Defense (MDN) emphasized the significance of the visit:
“Upon the invitation of General of the Army Bandar Salem Al Muzain, Chief of General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, begins an official visit to the State of Kuwait as of today, November 24, 2024.”
The visit is framed within the broader context of bolstering defense and military collaboration between Algeria and Kuwait. High-level discussions between the two military leaders are set to delve into pressing regional security matters and explore avenues for deepened bilateral coordination on defense strategies and training programs.
