ALGIERS- Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the Peoples National Army (ANP), conducted, on Wednesday, an inspection visit to the main naval base of Mers El-Kebir as part of his ongoing working and inspection visit. This visit began on Monday at the level of the second military region of Oran.
During his visit, General Chanegriha took a keen interest in the socio-professional situation of employees and inaugurated several new workshops of the shipbuilding and repair company at the same base. The Ministry of National Defense released a statement highlighting the General’s close inquiry into the matter.
Furthermore, the Chief of Staff closely followed the various stages of construction of the first tugs at the level of this company. General Chanegriha emphasized the importance of preserving these significant achievements for the ANP and Algeria.
Overall, General Chanegriha’s visit to the naval base of Mers El-Kebir was a productive and informative one, demonstrating his commitment to ensuring the continued success of the ANP and its various operations.
