ALGIERS- General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), chaired the opening of the annual meeting of the Army Equipment cadres at the Higher School of Equipment in the 1st Military Region on Sunday, according to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense (MDN).
“Received by the commander of the 1st military region, Major General Ali Sidane, in the presence of the ANP inspector general, sector chiefs, and central directors of the MDN, the Chief of Staff attended a detailed presentation given by the central director of Equipment regarding the assessment of activities carried out as part of the preparation exercise for the years 2023-2024 and the prospects for the development of this corps for the coming years,” the statement read.
General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha then delivered an orientation speech via video conference to all units of this directorate located in the six military regions: “The Chief of Staff expressed his pleasure at supervising this annual meeting with the aim of evaluating the implementation of the program of this important directorate and establishing a general assessment of the ongoing activities to support the operational units of the ANP,” the statement added.
