Algerian Army Chief Chanegriha received by Brazilian Minister of Defense

ALGIERS- Army General Said Chenegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, was received, on Wednesday, by Brazilian Defense Minister Jose Museo Monteiro.
The audience took place on the sidelines of Army General Said Chanegriha’s participation in the 13th edition of the Defense and Security Expo (LAAD-2023), held in Rio De Janeiro in the Federative Republic of Brazil, said a statement from the Ministry of National Defense.
On the occasion, “the Chief of Staff of the ANP delivered to the Brazilian Minister of Defense a written message from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Minister of National Defense, Commander in chief of the Armed Forces, added the same communiqué.
In his speech, Said Chanegriha affirmed that President Tebboune “pays particular attention to the promotion of Algerian-Brazilian relations in all sectors, particularly in the field of military cooperation”.
The Army General also indicated that his presence at the “LAAD-2023” exhibition is “proof of the willingness of the Algerian army’s high command to develop its military cooperation with one of the member countries of the BRICS”.
