ALGIERS- The Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, received the Director of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation, Mr. Dimitrii Chougaev, in Algiers on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense (MDN), this meeting took place on the sidelines of the 21st session of the Algerian-Russian Interministerial Committee for Technical and Military Cooperation, held in Algiers from November 25th to 29th.
“During this meeting, both parties engaged in discussions regarding the state of military and technical cooperation between the two countries, as well as addressing matters of mutual interest,” the statement added.
By engaging in these high-level discussions, both sides demonstrated their commitment to fostering a robust and enduring partnership in the realm of military cooperation. The meeting served as a platform to exchange ideas, share expertise, and explore potential avenues for collaboration, ultimately enhancing the defense capabilities of both Algeria and Russia.
