Algerian Army’s Chief of Staff Saïd Chanegriha Explores Chinese Naval Capabilities During Official Visit

ALGIERS- Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), is currently on an official visit to China, strengthening bilateral ties and exploring avenues of cooperation. One of the highlights of his visit was the exploration of the Shanghai naval base of the Chinese navy on Friday, November 17.

In a significant move, General Chanegriha toured the installations of this crucial naval base, gaining insights into its capabilities and strategic significance. The visit included an in-depth exploration of a military frigate, during which he received detailed explanations regarding its construction and the cutting-edge technologies it incorporates.

The Shanghai naval base stands as a symbol of China’s maritime strength, and General Chanegriha’s visit underlines the growing military collaboration between Algeria and China.
