ALGIERS- During a visit to inspect various road infrastructure projects aimed at easing traffic congestion in the capital, Wali of Algiers, Abdenour Rabehi, exerted pressure on the responsible companies to ensure the swift completion of these projects.
Rabehi commenced his inspection with a visit to the project involving the expansion of the road connecting Staoueli to Zeralda. While on-site, he instructed project leaders to finalize the road construction before the upcoming summer season. To achieve this goal, Rabehi directed the constant monitoring of the project by the delegated wali, an increase in human and material resources, and the implementation of a 3×8 work schedule.
The Wali also examined the widening project of National Road No. 111, linking Ain Beniane to Cheraga, ordering the prompt opening of the 100-meter bridge connecting the two municipalities.
Inspecting the underpass project leading to Beni Messous from Cheraga, where major construction work is complete, Rabehi mandated Sonelgaz and Seaal services to swiftly address electrification and water evacuation tasks. This is crucial to commission the underpass during the first quarter of 2024.
Additionally, during his visit to the construction site of the new road connecting 5th July to Khraissia, Rabehi demanded the completion of the underpass no later than the second quarter of 2024. He urged the reinforcement of teams to ensure the timely delivery of the entire project.
