Algerian Citizen Donates Car Proceeds to Support Gaza Relief Efforts Led by El Baraka Association

ALGIERS- An Algerian citizen has made a heartfelt gesture by donating the entire proceeds from selling his car to support relief efforts for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing relentless aggression by the Zionist occupation.
Kamel Benmebarek, the generous donor, took to his Facebook account to announce his contribution, stating, “With gratitude to Allah, the car has been sold, and its full price of 130 million centimes has been donated to the El Baraka Association.” Alongside his announcement, he shared a photo of the transfer receipt to the postal account of the El Baraka Association, expressing lingering concerns, “Nevertheless, I do not feel reassured. The cloud of betrayal still looms overhead.”
On April 6th, Algerian television covered the distribution of food parcels funded by Algerian donations as part of the “Fulfilled Promise” campaign to displaced individuals in Rafah.
The Algerian Public Television correspondent from Gaza emphasized, “Algerian support, from the presidency, government, and people, has not ceased to strengthen the resilience of Palestinians on the ground since the start of the occupation aggression.”
Additionally, the El Baraka Association, through its website, announced the launch of the Zakat al-Fitr project from Gaza and the North, in front of the Fadil al-Wartilani building. The association confirmed that all Zakat amounts contributed by Algerians for Palestinians, through the association, reached their deserving recipients, victims of the Zionist aggression, and were distributed under a message of resilience and defiance against Zionist aggression.
Palestinians in Gaza, through recorded videos, praised the generosity of Algerians and their constant commitment to supporting Palestine and its people, acknowledging all the sacrifices they make. Elderly individuals offered prayers for the protection of Algeria and its people from harm and adversity.
This act of solidarity exemplifies the enduring bond between the Algerian and Palestinian peoples, transcending geographical boundaries in the pursuit of justice and humanitarian aid.
