Algiers, Algeria | September 25th, 2024 — In light of the ongoing and escalating security concerns in Lebanon, the Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria has issued a significant statement to inform Algerian nationals residing in the country. The embassy is closely monitoring and evaluating the evolving security situation and assured its citizens that they will be promptly informed of any necessary measures affecting their safety, particularly with regard to shelter, guidance, and other forms of support.
The statement emphasized that, “due to security reasons and technical constraints, it is currently not feasible to accommodate members of the Algerian community at the embassy premises.” This clarification highlights the gravity of the situation, urging Algerian nationals to remain vigilant and to follow embassy communications for further instructions.
In an effort to reassure its citizens, the embassy confirmed that it remains in constant contact with members of the Algerian community to address their concerns during this challenging period. Embassy officials are fully engaged in providing ongoing assistance and are prepared to implement further measures as the situation develops.
