ALGIERS- The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received, this Tuesday, at the headquarters of the ministry, Mrs. Catherine MacGregor, Managing Director of the French Group ENGIE.
The two parties reviewed the relations between Engie and Sonatrach groups in the gas fields as well as the prospects for collaboration between the two companies.
The Minister and the Managing Director of Engie also discussed the current state of the international natural gas market and its evolution, business opportunities and future investment prospects in the field of green electricity export, new and renewable energies, in particular the development of hydrogen and the construction of solar photovoltaic electricity production facilities, as well as the field of new technologies and training.
