Algerian FM Ahmed Attaf’s Productive Talks with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken Foster Solidarity and Partnership

Washington, D.C. – August 9, 2023– In a significant diplomatic stride, Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf engaged in substantive discussions with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday during his official visit to Washington. The bilateral meeting showcased the shared commitment of Algeria and the United States to fortify their longstanding friendship and cooperation. Amidst a backdrop of evolving global challenges, the discussions reinforced the depth of their partnership and explored avenues for collaboration on regional issues of mutual concern.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the two diplomats convened to deliberate on the present reality and future prospects of Algerian-American relations.
