ALGIERS- Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived in Kampala, the capital of the Republic of Uganda, on Tuesday evening to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). This diplomatic mission, assigned by the President of the Republic, aims to contribute to the preparations for the 19th NAM Summit scheduled for January 19-20, themed “Enhancing Cooperation for Shared Global Prosperity.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed in a statement that the ministerial meeting, scheduled for January 17 and 18, serves as a crucial step in the lead-up to the NAM Summit. The broader objective is to strengthen collaboration among non-aligned nations for a more globally inclusive prosperity.

In addition to participating in the main ministerial meeting, Minister Ahmed Attaf is set to engage in discussions at the Palestine Committee of the Non-Aligned Movement. The itinerary also includes bilateral talks with several counterparts on the sidelines of these ministerial gatherings.
