Algerian FM Attaf Holds Bilateral Talks with Tunisian Counterpart Ammar During Visit

ALGIERS- During his visit to Tunisia as the special envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, engaged in bilateral discussions with his Tunisian counterpart, Nabil Ammar.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks focused on the fraternal and cooperative relations between Algeria and Tunisia. Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the positive developments recorded over the past four years under the high directives of the leaders of the two brotherly countries, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and President Kais Saied.
They also applauded the increasing importance currently given to the development and promotion of border areas. These areas serve as the primary and direct points of contact and cohesion between the two brotherly peoples, as per the statement.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the evolving situation in the Sahelo-Saharan region. The ministers affirmed the convergence of analyses and positions of both countries, emphasizing their commitment to continuing and strengthening coordination at various levels to serve the objectives of peace and security in the region, the ministry’s statement concluded.
