Algerian FM Attaf Receives Phone Call from Saudi Counterpart

ALGIERS- Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call on Thursday from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
According to a statement from the ministry, the two ministers exchanged Eid Al-Fitr greetings and discussed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories in general, with a particular focus on the Gaza Strip, which has been under continuous Zionist aggression for over six months.
They also took this opportunity to “exchange views and coordinate regarding imminent developments concerning the Palestinian issue, including diplomatic efforts aimed at enabling the State of Palestine to obtain full membership status at the United Nations,” the source concluded.
