Algerian FM Attaf Welcomes UN Special Representative for West Africa

ALGIERS- Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, hosted Leonardo Santos Simao, the special representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations for West Africa. The meeting took place on Monday at the ministry’s headquarters, as part of Mr. Simao’s four-day visit to Algeria.
The primary focus of the meeting revolved around an insightful exchange of views regarding the current situation in the Sahel region.
