Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf Reaffirms Solidarity with Lebanon Amid Zionist Aggression

Algiers, Algeria | September 25th, 2024 — In a firm display of diplomatic solidarity, Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf met with his Lebanese counterpart, Abdallah Bouhabib, on Tuesday in New York, to address the recent surge in violence in Lebanon. Algeria, according to Attaf, remains committed to upholding the principles of justice and international law, vowing to leverage its position on the UN Security Council to advocate for the protection of Lebanon and resist the expansionist and violent policies of the Zionist entity. The meeting, marked by the deep historical ties between the two nations, reinforced Algeria’s consistent stance in supporting Arab and regional unity against foreign interventions and occupiers.
