Algerian-German Energy Day to Take Place in Algiers on Monday

ALGIERS- The Ministry of Energy and Mines, in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry of the Economy and Climate Protection, is proud to announce the upcoming 5th Algerian-German Energy Day, scheduled to take place tomorrow in Algiers.

This event, held under the theme “The technologies of the future that connect us – renewable energies and green hydrogen,” aims to foster discussions on the development of renewable energies, hydrogen, and energy efficiency in Algeria. Additionally, it will explore potential areas of cooperation with Germany in these fields.

The 5th Algerian-German Energy Day is a significant milestone in the Algerian-German energy partnership. It serves as a platform for experts and stakeholders to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and explore innovative solutions for a sustainable energy future. This edition will witness the presence of different guests, including the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection (BMWK), Stefan Wenzel, the German ambassador to Algeria, Elisabeth Wolbers, and the ambassador of the European Union delegation in Algiers, Thomas Eckert.

The event promises to be a dynamic and engaging gathering, bringing together key figures from the energy sector in both Algeria and Germany. It will provide a unique opportunity to showcase the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies and the potential of green hydrogen. Moreover, it will shed light on the importance of energy efficiency and its role in achieving sustainable development goals.

The Ministry of Energy and Mines and the German Federal Ministry of the Economy and Climate Protection are committed to strengthening the partnership between Algeria and Germany in the energy sector.
