Algerian Government Reviews Key Issues in Education, Religious Affairs, and Investment

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Mr. Nadir Larbaoui chaired a government meeting in Algiers on Monday, focusing on the study and examination of several issues related to the national education and religious affairs sectors.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, an overview of the implementation progress of the articles of the law regarding trade union rights was presented during the meeting. Additionally, a comparative study on the integration of university graduates into the labor market was discussed.
Furthermore, as part of the implementation of the directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to finalize the publication of executive decrees related to investment, the Government examined a draft executive decree setting out the conditions for contributing in shares or social quotas in companies governed by Algerian law. This draft decree pertains to certain strategic sectors in accordance with Article 52 of the 2020 Supplementary Finance Law.
Finally, the Government reviewed several presentations concerning measures implemented to ensure the continuity of the national policy measures in the pharmaceutical industry and to guarantee the availability of medications in public healthcare facilities.
The government’s comprehensive review of these crucial sectors reflects its commitment to addressing key national priorities and advancing strategic objectives in various fields.
