Algerian-Libyan Determination to Elevate Relations to Broader Horizons

ALGIERS- Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in discussions on Tuesday in Doha, Qatar, with the Head of the National Unity Government of Libya, Abdelhamid Dbeibah.
During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of their participation in the 3rd session of Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, the two parties examined, according to the ministry’s statement, “ways to strengthen the relations of cooperation and fraternity between the two sisterly countries and brotherly peoples.”
The statement further specified that the two sides also discussed “the prospects for elevating them to higher levels in all areas of mutually beneficial common interest” and engaged in “an exchange of views and analyses on developments in the Libyan scene, as well as developments in the political and security situation in the region.”
