Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Debunking False Information about UAE

ALGIERS- In today’s digital age, information spreads rapidly, often leading to the circulation of false and unfounded claims. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has found itself at the center of such misinformation.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs categorically refuted the claims made by Ennahar TV and emphasized that they were baseless and devoid of any truth. The ministry clarified that there has been no request to expel the Emirati ambassador from Algerian territory. The ministry expressed deep regret over these wrongful actions and condemned the despicable plans that targeted Algeria’ sovereignty and security.
The communiqué emphasized the remarkable strength and unwavering nature of the bilateral relations shared between the two nations, underscoring the deep sense of kinship that exists between their peoples. It was reiterated that both countries are equally committed to elevating these relations to unprecedented heights, in complete alignment with the shared aspirations and collective determination of their respective leaders.

This statement is a direct response to Ennahar’s article, which propagated baseless information regarding Algeria’s request for the Emirati ambassador to leave the country within 48 hours. Ennahar went so far claiming that the decision to expel the Emirati ambassador was made in light of the recent arrest of four Emirati spies who were found to be acting on behalf of the Zionist entity’s Mossad.
