Algerian Ministry of National Defense Announces Arrest of Terrorist in Bordj Badji Mokhtar

ALGIERS- In a press release issued this Wednesday, the Ministry of National Defense (MDN) of Algeria disclosed the capture of a terrorist identified as Rikane El Safah in Bordj Badji Mokhtar.
According to the official statement, the operation was carried out by a unit of the Algerian People’s National Army (ANP) in Bordj Badji Mokhtar (SO6). The MDN emphasized that the apprehended individual was actively involved with terrorist groups abroad.
The successful operation underscores Algeria’s unwavering commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring national security. The ANP’s swift and decisive action demonstrates the effectiveness of Algeria’s security apparatus in addressing threats posed by extremist elements.
