ALGIERS- The Speaker of the Algerian People’s National Assembly, Brahim Boughali, was received yesterday by King Abdullah II of Jordan in Amman, where he is leading a delegation of parliamentarians.
During the meeting, King Abdullah II expressed Jordan’s support for Algeria’s efforts at the United Nations Security Council in favor of common Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian issue.
The Jordanian sovereign praised Algeria’s diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and to deliver aid to civilian populations in the enclave, highlighting Algeria’s commitment to peace and humanitarian assistance in the region.
