Algiers- Algeria, May 5, 2024 – During his participation in the OIC Summit as the representative of the President of the Republic, Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui held a meeting with the President of the African Union Commission, Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat, as announced by a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.
According to the statement, Larbaoui and Faki Mahamat discussed the developments in international and regional relations, and ways to continue efforts to strengthen African solidarity and support for the Palestinian cause.
The discussions between Larbaoui and Faki Mahamat touched upon various topics, including ongoing regional and international developments. The leaders exchanged views on the current African landscape and the future prospects of the African Union.
Prime Minister Larbaoui emphasized Algeria’s commitment to fostering unity and cooperation within Africa. He reiterated Algeria’s support for the African Union’s efforts in addressing the continent’s challenges and promoting peace, security, and development.
