Algerian Premier Larbaoui Meets UN Secretary-General on Sidelines of G77+ China Summit

ALGIERS- In a meeting held today on the sidelines of the third South Summit of the Group of 77 and China in Kampala, Uganda, Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui had a constructive discussion with the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres. The UN Secretary-General conveyed his warm regards and appreciation to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune through Prime Minister Larbaoui, recalling the profound discussions he had with President Tebboune, especially during the Arab Summit hosted by Algeria on November 1-2, 2022.
The summit aims to instill a new dynamic among Southern countries under the theme “Leaving No One Behind.” Prime Minister Larbaoui, representing President Tebboune, actively participated in the summit’s proceedings, contributing to the overarching goal of fostering cooperation and development among Southern nations.
The meeting further emphasized the importance of international collaboration and dialogue, highlighting Algeria’s commitment to regional and global partnerships.
