Algerian President Tebboune Extends Condolences to Kuwaiti Emir

Algiers, Algeria | August 13th, 2024 — In a gesture of solidarity and sympathy, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria has sent a heartfelt message of condolences to Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, following the passing of Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the esteemed elder of the Al-Sabah family.

In his communication, President Tebboune expressed profound sorrow at the news of Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah’s death. He recognized the significant contributions of the late Sheikh to Kuwait and underscored the depth of the loss felt by both Kuwait and Algeria.
The message conveyed by President Tebboune reads: “It is with deep sorrow that I received the news of the passing of Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the esteemed elder of the Al-Sabah family. His life was marked by dedicated service to the beloved State of Kuwait.”
President Tebboune continued, expressing his condolences in the face of the immense loss: “In the face of this immense loss, which is part of Allah’s decree, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Your Highness and, through you, to the entire Al-Sabah family. I pray that the Almighty grants the deceased His boundless mercy, forgiveness, and pleasure, and that He grants you and your family patience and solace during this difficult time. May He protect you from any harm, and may you find reward and strength in your patience, in accordance with the divine saying, ‘Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.’”
Concluding his message, President Tebboune reiterated his respect and sympathy: “Please accept, Your Highness and dear brother, the highest expressions of my esteem and respect.”
