Algiers, Algeria – In a show of solidarity and empathy, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the Republic of Algeria has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to President Abdelatif Djamel Rashid of Iraq following a devastating fire that swept through northern Iraq, resulting in multiple casualties. The sincere and compassionate message of support was issued in a press release from the Office of the President of the Republic.
In his message addressed to President Rashid, President Tebboune expressed his deep sorrow and condolences for the tragic incident, which has caused immense grief to the people of Iraq. Following the fire which broke out in northern Iraq and which claimed several victims, we present to you, as well as to the families of the victims and to the brotherly Iraqi people, on behalf of the people and the Government of Algeria and on my personal behalf, our sincere condolences and deep sympathy, while praying to Allah Almighty to grant the victims of this painful accident, His Holy mercy, to lend patience and comfort to their families, as well as a speedy recovery to the injured,” read the heartfelt message.
President Tebboune’s words not only expressed condolences but also sought divine solace and recovery for those affected by the tragic event. The President’s message reflected Algeria’s unwavering support and solidarity with Iraq during this difficult time.
