Algiers, Algeria | July 8th, 2024 — On Monday, Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui received the Dutch Ambassador to Algeria, Janna Van Der Velde, at the Government Palace as she paid a farewell visit marking the conclusion of her mission in the country. According to a communiqué from the Prime Minister’s office, the discussions centered on the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for development across various sectors.

During the meeting, both parties emphasized their shared commitment to enhancing political dialogue on international and regional issues. They highlighted the mutual desire to promote the Algerian-Dutch partnership, particularly in the economic and social sectors.

Ambassador Van Der Velde’s tenure in Algeria has been marked by a period of robust engagement between the two nations. The discussions underscored the significant progress made in bilateral relations and identified key areas for further cooperation.
