ALGIERS- In a remarkable display of talent at one of America’s renowned universities, Malek Ben L’mnaouar, an Algerian prodigy based in Qatar, emerged triumphant at the 2023 World Scholar’s Cup held in the United States. The 11-year-old prodigy clinched a total of six medals, including three gold medals, showcasing his exceptional abilities at the prestigious event.
Malek excelled in various categories, such as reading, debating, and writing, leaving a lasting impression at Yale University during the World Scholar’s Cup. The young Algerian’s outstanding performance was met with accolades, marking a noteworthy achievement at this global gathering of young scholars.
“There are two categories: junior and senior. I won six medals, three of which are gold, in different events of the World Scholar’s Cup. These victories were achieved both individually and in collaboration with my peers,” Malek shared with Jow Media.
Overcoming numerous regional and continental challenges, the talented Algerian child shone brightly in the United States during the Global Round, cementing his path as a future scholar.
