Algerian Production Fair Inauguration: President Tebboune Affirms State Support for Investors

ALGIERS- In the inaugural ceremony of the 31st edition of the Algerian Production Fair, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune emphasized the government’s dedication to supporting and assisting investors at all levels, aiming to enhance performance and create more employment opportunities.
“The State supports and accompanies investors at all levels, whether in financing, land acquisition, or overcoming challenges for better performance and increased job opportunities,” stated the President during his tour of various stands dedicated to national public and private enterprises.
President Tebboune took the time to assess progress in terms of integration rates, the acquisition of necessary technologies to meet local demand, access to markets, and external spaces. He underscored that “Algeria is now an open construction site, especially with the commissioning of several strategic projects, automotive construction plants, and the expansion of the household appliance industry.”
Highlighting the significance of this development, the President noted that it would “open the door to start-ups and subcontracting companies to contribute to increasing the level of integration in the national industry, similar to the achievements of the People’s National Army in military industries, some of which have reached 100% integration.”
Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui also visited various stands at the fair, engaging in discussions with representatives from participating companies. The Algerian Production Fair will run until December 23, providing a platform for economic interactions and showcasing the diverse industrial landscape in Algeria.
