Algerian Red Crescent President Ibtissem Hamlaoui Receives Assistance from Madar Holding for Ramadan Relief Efforts

ALGIERS- Ibtissem Hamlaoui, President of the Algerian Red Crescent, has announced that 100,000 families across the country will benefit from aid provided by the organization during the holy month of Ramadan.
During the handover ceremony on Sunday, Hamlaoui explained that 5,000 families will receive assistance from Madar Holding, a conglomerate company, designated for eligible families during Ramadan. She noted that the aid provided by Madar Holding amounts to approximately 7,000 Algerian dinars per family.
Hamlaoui praised the collaboration with Madar Holding, describing it as the first solidarity campaign between the Algerian Red Crescent and the company aimed at supporting deserving families.
She added, “Madar Holding is one of the most important conglomerate companies in Algeria and has significant capacity to assist needy families.”
The aid convoy is destined for the Batna province, with plans for similar convoys to be dispatched to other provinces in the future.
Regarding roadside restaurants for travelers, the spokesperson confirmed the existence of 200 restaurants operated by the Algerian Red Crescent catering to travelers in general, revealing that their organization aims to cover the east-west highway with mercy restaurants in anticipation of Ramadan.
