Algerian Red Crescent President Ibtissem Hamlaoui Shares Eid Joy with Palestinian Children -Photos

ALGIERS- The President of the Algerian Red Crescent (ARC), Mrs. Ibtissem Hamlaoui, shared the joy of Eid al-Fitr with Palestinian children and their caregivers at the Beni Messous Military Hospital in Algiers on Thursday, according to a statement from the humanitarian organization.
During the visit, Mrs. Hamlaoui ensured that all the needs expressed by the children and their caregivers were met, in addition to distributing electronic tablets, toys, clothing, and gifts to the children on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
It is worth noting that Palestinian children and their caregivers were evacuated on March 29th to the Boufarik Air Base in Blida aboard two medical aircraft belonging to the Algerian Air Forces, from Cairo Airport (Arab Republic of Egypt).
This operation was carried out “in execution of the initiative of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at taking care of 450 injured Palestinian children in need of medical treatment,” the same source said.
The ARC’s gesture underscores Algeria’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to providing humanitarian assistance to those in need, particularly children affected by conflict. It also highlights the strong bonds of solidarity between Algeria and Palestine, rooted in shared principles of justice, dignity, and compassion.
Mrs. Hamlaoui’s visit not only brings joy and comfort to the young patients and their families but also serves as a testament to Algeria’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable populations, both domestically and internationally.
