ALGIERS- The Algerian Red Crescent (CRA) received, Monday in Algiers, in the form of a donation, a shipment of 50 tons of dates offered by the servant of the Holy Places of Islam, King Salman ben Abdelaziz Al Saud.
The cargo handover operation that took place at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Algiers in the presence of a delegation from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) was part of the promotion of cooperation as well as humanitarian and voluntary action between the two countries and the strengthening of strong fraternal relations uniting the two brotherly peoples.
On this occasion, the Saudi Ambassador, Abdallah Benacer El Bassiri, underlined that this initiative “testifies to the strong friendly relations uniting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Algeria” and is intended as an extension of the action of the Salman Center, the objective being to “promote relations with brotherly and friendly countries.”
